On our first excursion, we will explore the National Botanical Garden of Wales, which houses the largest single-span glass dome in the world. We will have the opportunity to enjoy many rare and endangered plants from several continents, and hopefully see the December bloom of the Dragon Tree, a centrepiece of the garden.
Our next outing will head west to St. David's, Britain’s smallest city. It is rich in history, with a spectacular cathedral and Bishop's Palace, interesting back streets to explore, and gorgeous sea views.
Our final excursion takes us to two locations. Firstly, we journey to Carmarthen, the oldest town in Wales, dating from 75 AD. Take in the festive atmosphere of the town centre and browse the many interesting shops. Secondly, we go to an annual Christmas event hosted by the picturesque coastal town of Saundersfoot. Enjoy Christmas shopping and festive treats by the seaside.
