GUARANTEED SNOW ON THE GLACIER

We invite you to come with us to enjoy Engelberg. The village is dominated by the impressive 9,935 feet Mount Titlis, and is surrounded by stunning mountains making this an ideal winter holiday location.

The piste on Mount Titlis is accessed by the world’s first rotating cable car, which turns a full 360° to provide a unique way to view the varied terrain as you travel to the guaranteed snow on the glacier. The 'Ice-flyer' whisks you over a vast expanse of snow to the top where a breathtaking panorama unfolds with a multitude of slopes and a host of leisure activities from which to choose.

SUPERB SELECTION OF PISTES

The resort offers pistes to cater for all tastes and abilities with great glacier skiing and snowboarding. With more than 20 lifts to choose from, the right terrain is easily accessible for fun and excitement in this beautiful alpine setting.

EXCELLENT HIGH ALTITUDE SKIING & SNOWBOARDING

Beginners have a great learning area and will soon be venturing onto the long blue run from the Trübsee back down to the village. Intermediate skiers are spoilt for choice! Why not spend the morning on the variety of pistes found on the south facing Brunni before heading up after lunch to enjoy the north facing slopes of the Jochpass or the long red runs above Trübsee. The red runs on the glacier provide excellent high altitude skiing and snowboarding with stunning views across central Switzerland.

CHALLENGING VARIETY FOR ADVANCED SKIERS AND SNOWBOARDERS

There is plenty on offer for those with many piste-miles clocked up; for an unforgettable challenge, try the black run from the glacier and continue down the 12 km descent to the village. The off-piste seems endless and with a guide you can tackle the exciting runs on the glacier and the famous Laub run.

A TOP DESTINATION FOR SNOWBOARDING

We are pleased to offer both ski and snowboard instruction and equipment hire. Why not join us at this well-respected snowboarding resort, whether for your first taste of snowboarding or to further advance with wide runs perfect for carving and fun park complete with rails, popes and kickers.  Riders will simply love the 'free-ride paradise' open terrain above Trübsee.

ICE-SKATING, CURLING AND SWIMMING

Visit Engelberg’s extensive sports centre for ice-skating or a game of indoor tennis, or the 'Sonnenberg' with its indoor swimming pool close to the main gondola station. For those who enjoy cross-country skiing and winter walking, the resort offers 34 km of trails!

"Step into friendly Engelberg - the picturesque mountain town that 'lives and breathes winter sports'. Hassle-free transport rushes you to the slpoes. View the huuge glacier  - broad, majestic and laced with groomed runs. Vast off-piste areas beckon the adventurous. Dedicated beginner slopes encourage those starting out. Perfect your skills with Oak Hall instruction. Re-energise in a restaurant. Gaze into a glacier cave. Return home to the friendly buzz of the Oak Hall chalet to end a beautiful day."
