The Kentish Expedition

Come and join us for an Oak Hall Expedition to the Garden of England!  We will explore pretty villages, swim in our own pool, enjoy quality Bible teaching with stunning views from our Terrace Lounge and relax over our evening activities together. Some will stay in shared dorm rooms, while a few of us opt for single and twin rooms in our own country manor house, and still others will camp in the sun-drenched Walled Garden.

Adventures each day

Every day there will be adventures for us to go on and we will share our transportation as we set off around Kent.

Explore medieval Rochester's castle, cathedral and Charles Dickens Museum; visit historical dockyards in Chatham; tour the charming Hever Castle and grounds which was the home of Anne Boleyn; relax at the seaside in Margate; delve deep into the history and tunnels of Dover Castle; head below the surface to the Chislehurst Caves; or walk to charming National Trust properties like Ightham Mote or Knole Park.

In addition to our outings, there will be walks, bike rides and a range of activities taking place at the manor, including a quiz, a twilight walk and sports opportunities including croquet and volleyball! A number of competitions, games and treasure hunts will be running throughout the week for those who enjoy a challenge.

Each day, you also have the option to choose to do your own thing. You might choose to visit the tearooms in Otford, explore the town of Sevenoaks or visit Tonbridge for a row on the river and a game of crazy golf to name just a few of the many local delights on offer.

Three meals a day included in the price

Every morning breakfast will be available and there will be the opportunity to make a packed lunch, each evening we will come back to fresh hot food served from the Manor Kitchen. We will be able to eat in the Tudor Dining Hall or outside in the fresh air and chat about the day's adventures.

Worship in our Terrace Lounge with stunning views

Each evening we will have helpful Bible Teaching and sung praise in the Terrace Lounge overlooking excellent valley views as we fix our eyes on Jesus.

This holiday has proved popular over the last few years with a number of people returning time and again to enjoy a wonderful week at Otford Manor. Whether you have enjoyed this holiday every year or this is your very first time on the Kentish Expedition, you are most welcome to join us for a week of fellowship and fun and where friends become family.
