Active Italy

Do you love the great outdoors? Do you find that an active break is a refreshing break? Join us for a week in a beautiful Italian setting as we enjoy sailing and kayaking on the lake, walking, swimming and more. 

The cost of this holiday includes coach and ferry transport for the activities, use of yachts on the lake with a skipper, kayak hire, high ropes course and swimming pool entrance, as detailed below. 

New for this year, the hotel will have a Taste of Italy menu offering a range of dishes from around the country. 

In the glorious Oglio Valley the river flows into Lake Iseo. Included in the cost, one of our activities will give us access to a private club on the lake. This includes the use of two 30ft yachts, with a skipper to guide us.

There will also be kayaks available, which we can use to explore the lake at our own pace and we can swim in the lake. We can take it in turns to sail or kayak and we will have great fun exploring this beautiful scenery.

A fourth day will take us to an adventure park in the forest. Suitable for a range of ages and abilities, a series of high ropes, low ropes and zip lines provides an exciting day. The area is also excellent for walking.  

We also spend a day relaxing at the swimming pool complex with a range of pools and slides (see photo above). 

Our free day allows us to explore the local town or impressive spa facility and enjoy the satisfaction gained from a week of healthy exercise. 

We will be based in the three-star Hotel San Martino, north of the lake, in the riverside town of Boario Terme. All the rooms are en-suite. 

After each day we will meet together to hear an inspiring Bible talk, as well as having the chance to share stories from our activities or play games.
