Germany's premier non-Alpine resort

The Feldberg is a modern resort with 14 ski lifts and 26km of piste through the Black Forest, providing plenty of variety and a beautiful setting for our four days of skiing. With a World Cup run and challenging black slopes, as well as some of the most gentle beginner slopes, the Feldberg has a perfect variety of pistes to offer all abilities. The resort also boasts a good snow park which hosts international competitions.

Get on the slopes straight away!

We meet at Otford Manor in the afternoon of the departure day for ski fitting before travelling overnight to Germany. After breakfast and a quick wash and change at a local service area we head straight to the slopes of the Feldberg. At the end of our first day on the mountain we arrive at our welcoming Mountain Centre for an evening meal prepared by our German hosts.

Oak Hall Mountain Centre: Jugendherberge Titisee-Veltishof

Surrounded by the majestic Black Forest, on the edge of Lake Titisee we stay in the relaxed, welcoming accommodation. With free tea, hot chocolate and coffee available at all times, it creates an ideal base from where we travel just 20 minutes in our coach to the Feldberg ski area.

Standard rooms are for 3, 4, 5 or 6 people, some with bunk beds. Twin rooms and single rooms are also available.

Half term adventures

With a basic cost from just 428GBP for an adult, this is an especially economical option for those who wish to ski during February half term.

A short journey to the slopes

Each day, after a continental breakfast and preparing a packed lunch, we travel about 20 minutes in our Oak Hall coach to the base of the ski lifts for a great day in the mountains. At the end of the day we travel back to our friendly Mountain Centre for good food, great Bible teaching and fun together.

For many years we have enjoyed amazing conditions in the Feldberg but in 2024, for the first time since we began these half term trips, there were some days where we could not ski. If this happens, we head out to experience alternative activities and share an excellent time!

Heading home...

On the final day we board the coach at the end of the day's skiing and begin our journey home. We stop for dinner en route, sleep soundly overnight and arrive back in the UK early the next morning.
