Classic Tyrolean Hotel with sauna

In the village of Uderns in the Ziller Valley, Hotel Standlhof is a short ride from the ski areas Hochzillertal, Hochfügen and Spieljoch. All of the rooms are en-suite and furnished in the classic Tyrolean style with balconies overlooking the Zillertal Alps. The Standlhof boasts a sauna, a steam bath and a restaurant that serves Austrian cuisine and Tyrolean specialities.

One of Europe’s largest winter resorts with year-round skiing

The variety of high level runs and sunny open pistes offered by Hochzillertal at a height of 2,501m is just the start of what the area has to offer. Experienced skiers and riders will also want to take full advantage of the famous pistes at Zell am Ziller, Mayrhofen, Gerlos and the Hintertux Glacier, which offer many real adventures and are all included in the Superskipass.

"Everyone has come back smiling, talking about the week and sharing photos and more."

The ultimate winter playground at Hochzillertal

Our instruction programme is based at the Hochzillertal complex, an excellent place for learning to ski and snowboard, with slopes and tows designed to ensure a confident start. Absolute beginners will soon progress to the easy runs and begin to venture across the whole mountain. The challenge of fresh powder underneath the Öfelerjoch chairlifts and the long, exhilarating descent into the Ziller Valley combine to create a snowsports paradise for all.

The awesome heights of Hochfügen – linked with Hochzillertal

Hochfügen is another of the exciting areas not to be missed. This amazing wintersports area has further improved with the recent linking to the neighbouring Hochzillertal resort. Enjoy the best of the 181km runs with high altitude beginner pistes and, for the more advanced, fast challenging runs under the awesome peak of the Pfaffenbühel.

An extensive choice

The massive range of slopes for intermediate and advanced skiers is perhaps without equal in Europe. The Hintertux Glacier – training ground of the British Ski Team – is at the end of the valley and provides total snow security with year round skiing and snowboarding at the incredible height of 3,250m.

Easy access to the slopes

Our Zillertal lift pass allows to explore the whole valley - please click here for the map of the region or read more about lift passes with Oak Hall lift here.

Free lift passes for children, making this a great holiday for families over Easter.

Relaxing evenings together

Our evening meetings are always popular, with a well-presented Bible message, team testimonies, and sung worship. We then all gather together to enjoy an evening activity such as a quiz night, evening stroll, or the hotel’s very own home-made authentic Austrian apple strudel.

"Step out of the door as the steam train puffs through the Tirolean valley. Gentle beginner slopes or challenging adventurous runs? Carve broad open pistes. Enjoy great conversation in the cafe. Tear through deep fluffy fresh snow. Return home to a hot en-suite shower. Feast on home-cooked Austrian food. Finish perfectly with hot chocolate and the best company."
