Please find below some notes about the meal arrangements.
We can cater for vegetarians and will do our best to accommodate those with food allergies, but we will need ask for some flexibility with options at mealtimes. We will pass on the dietary requirements to the cooks team but please also talk to them at the start of the holiday so that they are aware of your needs and can work with you to meet your dietary requirements as best they can.
• Breakfast will include cereal and porridge; we are able to provide gluten free cornflakes and soya milk. You are also free to bring your own cereal and/or milk.
• Items are provided for packed lunches; we are able to provide gluten free bread/rice cakes. You are also free to bring your own bread/crackers.
• In the evening, main meals can be tricky given the limited nature of camp cooking, so we ask that you be understanding of this. It may be that some nights your needs can be best incorporated into the vegetarian option or you may have to wait a little longer after the main group has been served for your meal. If an appropriate dessert is not available you will be welcome to have plenty of fresh fruit.
Gluten, dairy and nuts are handled. Our team members will do their best to keep products separate, but we cannot guarantee the absence of gluten or nuts in our food. Please contact the office if you would like further clarification.
Do feel free to bring supplementary food such as cereal bars, rice pouches & sweets with you. Don’t worry if any additional items you bring take you over your usual baggage 20kg allowance. It’s worth noting that new rules following Brexit mean that you aren’t allowed to bring meat or dairy products into France.
